NOCTURNAL HALLOWEEN BALL

The Other Flesh will play at the 5th Annual Nocturnal Halloween Ball on Saturday, October 31st. It is hosted by The Core (formerly Nocturnal Models Agency). Other performers include burlesque acts by Chesty Von Ellem, Tifa DeLeone, Miss Lily Deluxe and others. And fire-performances by Burn Bitch Burn.

3 SHOWS WITH ELECTRIC BOYS

The Other Fresh recently supported the reunited Electric Boys on three dates at Göta Källare (Sthlm), Katalin (Uppsala) and Sticky Fingers (Göteborg). It was a blast! NORDIC FRINGE FESTIVAL

The Other Flesh play at the Nordic Fringe Festival in Eskilstuna, Sweden on friday 28th of August. They bring good their good friends in King Oliver's Revolver. It's the first time the bands play together but it will be a perfect fit and a great recipe for a fabulous evening.

NEW SONG NEW VIDEO

We know we've been lousy putting up new stuff. So we decided to upload a demo version of the song 'NOTHING LIKE A STAR'. It's a rough recording and mix but we hope you like it nonetheless! It features guest appearances by Deltahead's Benjamin Quigley on bass and Emma Persson on backing vocals.

We also uploaded a live video recorded by a friend at our recent gig at the burlesque club Tip The Velvet in Gothenburg, Sweden... It's up on YouTube.

T O F @ Sisters of Mercy afterparty

80s dark rock legends The Sisters Of Mercy hit Stockholm on their ongoing tour on Saturday March 21st! The afterparty is at Hornstull Strand and The Other Flesh is playing live at around 12 (so plenty of time to make it after the sisters gig). DJing that night are Skinny Disco (Deathstars) and DJ DaKe. Special guest DJ is also Ben Christo of The Sisters Of Mercy (and his own band Night by Night) that will make his way to the party right after the gig. The Other Flesh to support Deathstars

The Other Flesh are supporting Deathstars on the first two dates of their european tour. In Stockholm on Feb 5th and Linköping Feb 6th. Tickets/info are available here.

The Other Flesh in the studio

The Other Flesh has started the recordings of the next single due to be released sometime this spring. Regular members Vladan Gligorijevic (accordion, piano), Gunnar Lööf (drums), Bjørn Kanrell (guitars etc) and Stellan von Reybekiel (percussion) have put down tracks as well as guest musicians Benjamin Quigley (bass) and Stevie Klasson (mandolin, lapsteel)... So far it sounds great! Recording is hopefulle wrapped up in the next week or two, then its off for mixing... More when we got it!

The Other Flesh + Deltahead

On Friday, October 24th we share the stage with our good friends, Deltahead, at Mosebacke Etablissement in Stockholm, Sweden. Also DJs from Tiki Bar will spin rock'n'roll, rockabilly, swing, garage etc.. It will be a fantastic evening. The Doors open at 9pm and admission is 100SEK. The Other Flesh will be on stage ca 10:30pm and Deltahead around midnight.

Hanoi Rocks are doing an exclusive clubgig in Stockholm before they go out and play the festivals... The Other Flesh are special guests and go on stage at about 8.30pm... Also DJs Anders 'Boba' Lindström (Hellacopters) and Skinny 'Disco' Kangur (Deathstars). It will be a great evening. Make sure you show up if in town... New Guitarist!

The Other Flesh are happy to welcome Björn Kanrell to the gang!
Damon Zurawski and Mr Kanrell have already written a new song, 'Nothing Like A Star' together so things are looking very promising indeed!
